Grammy's Afghans

Thank you ALL who bought afghans before.
Grammy used to work until her stroke and I think she felt like she couldn't
"contribute" any longer. Buying her afghans made her so incredibly
happy. I also appreciate all the offers for yarn. Really, the selling of her
afghans is more about her earning her own money that actually getting the
yarn. Her kids and grandkids will buy her yarn, that's not a problem. She
just wanted to feel like she could purchase it herself through being useful.
These are all acrylic and are the size of a good couch cuddler.
They change in dimensions slightly depending on Grams gauge and how long she
crochets for. If you've been following the blog, you know Gram has had a stroke.
She can't read anymore and hashad to give up many of her other activities.
Thankfully she can still crochet. So crochet she does. When I visited her
to take these photos, there were at least 40 of them on the shelf in her stash
closet.
We'll continue to buy her yarn and will if none of the sell. It's not a huge
deal except to Gram. She worked up until her stroke this spring. Sure it was
for my Mom but I know she misses earning some of her yarn money herself. If
