
These easy socks have a twisted leg. Its so easy you'll shout for joy!

Materials
Opal Handpainted Sock Yarn
Needles 2.5 mm or size to obtain gauge.
CO 56 sts
work in 1x1 ribbing for 2 inches.
next row, k2tog, knit the rest (55 sts)
work in pattern (it twists so its only good to use on the leg.)
Pattern: *K2tog, SKP, K3, YO, K1, YO, K3*
Repeat around every row for 5 inches.
Next row K1, M1, knit the rest (56 sts)
Knit 4 rows even
Work a short row heel
knit 1 inch even
Work the top part of your foot in knit and the bottom half of your sts in
1x1 rib for 1 inch. This will help conform to your instep to make a super
comfy sock
Work knitting even until the bas of your big toe then decreas for the toe.
toe decreases go as follows.
Arrange sts on 3 needles (from center of heel)
#1 - 14 sts, #2 - 28sts, #3 - 14sts
Round 1
Needle 1 - Knit within 3 of the end, k2tog, K1
Needle 2 - K1, SKP, Knit within 3 of the end, k2tog, K1
Needle 3 - K1, SKP knit the rest.
Round 2
Knit all
Repeat these rounds until you have a total of 20 sts left
Kitchener stitch the toe sts together and weave in all ends.
Now quick! Cast on for the second one. If you cast on for the second sock
immediately after finishing one then you are less likely to have second sock
syndrome. Or so the superstition says.
