The Hat Trifecta

Abbreviations:
K= knit, P=Purl, K2tog=Knit 2 sts together, P2tog= Purl 2 sts together, YO=yarn over
SKP= slip the next st, then knit the next one and pass the slipped stich over the knitted one and off of the needle.
CB6 - put next 3 sts on cable ndle and hold to the back of work, knit the next 3 sts, then knit the 3 sts from your cable ndle.

1. Lady

One size fits most. It's made to be soft and squishy so it won't ruin your hair for the day

MATERIALS
1 skein Lion Brand Wool Ease (197 yds) Oxford Grey
Size US 8 (5mm) 16 inch circulars
4 DPN’s Size US 8 (5mm)
needle to thread through the ends.

CABLE LACE PATTERN
Row1: * CB6, YO, P2 tog, K2, P2tog,YO* Repeat across
Row2: * K6, P2, K2, P2* Repeat across
Row3: * K6, P2tog, YO, K2, YO, P2tog* Repeat across
Row4: * K6, P2, K2, P2* Repeat across

PATTERN
CO 96 sts
Pass marker and join in a circle
*K2, P2* work across
Repeat the ribbing pattern for a total of 5 rows.

Begin cable lace pattern
Work a total of 7 repeats of the cable lace pattern

Start Decreases:
Row1: * K2tog,K2, SKP, YO, P2 tog, K2, P2tog,YO* Repeat across (80 sts)
Row2: * K4, P2, K2, P2* Repeat across
Row3: * K2tog, SKP, YO, P2 tog, K2, P2tog,YO* Repeat across (64 sts)
Row4: * K2, P2* Repeat across
Row5: * K2tog, P2tog* Repeat across (32 sts)
Row6: Knit all sts
Row7: * K2tog* Repeat across (16 sts)
Row8: Knit all sts
Row9: * K2tog* Repeat across (8 sts)

Break yarn and weave in through the remaining stitches to close the hole.
Secure the yarn
Weave in all ends
Block or put it on your head and be warm.

2. Teen

Made for smaller heads or those that are looking for a cover up when your hair already looks awful. Its like a skull cap

MATERIALS
1 skein Noro Koreyon
Size US 8(5mm) 16 inch circulars
4 DPN’s Size US 8(5mm)
needle to thread through the ends.
